On Painswick Hill

A few weeks ago, my girlfriend and I took a train out West to catch up with some friends in Stroud. We all went for a scenic stroll up Painswick Hill on a pretty roasting Saturday afternoon – turned out the following afternoon’s trip to indulge in the cooling waters (and ice creams) of the local lido was a far more suitable plan.

Anyway, the minimalism of this scene just caught my eye.
