Abney Park Cemetery

It’s been a while since I posted. Call it a spring break.

Anyway, a couple of weekends ago I went for a sunny Saturday stroll through this amazing old cemetery in Stoke Newington. Nature has near enough totally taken over. Hundreds of gravestones are clustered here, there and everywhere, many of them nearly completely consumed by the undergrowth. A fascinating place.

  1. I’ve been there once before to photography a rock band, it is cool there! Is this a new project for you mate?

    • Great spot for a band shoot – good shout! It is a mad place, definitely going to head up there more often as it’s not far from me, for photography and just for general wandering, but probably not a new project – maybe a bit macabre? : )
