The Bell, Walthamstow

Last weekend me and my girlfriend headed north on the Victoria Line the William Morris Gallery (well worth the trip) to check out their exhibition of David Bailey’s East End Faces – a very select though utterly brilliant collection of images.

Afterwards we headed, like many another couple, to The Bell to indulge in a few drinks while devouring the Saturday paper. It’s a great pub – cosy though not at all pokey and packed full of vintage sofas, mirrors and lamps.
